Building strategies for lasting change on a global scale

Over the past 15 years, I have applied creativity, strategic foresight, and operational excellence to turning evidence into actionable strategies for lasting change.

Along the way, I have guided foundations, governments, corporations, and NGOs in rethinking how they advocate, collaborate, and communicate. I have also built cross-sector coalitions, led complex nonprofit operations, and worked alongside entrepreneurs in low- and middle-income countries. My work has spanned human rights, climate action, health equity, and inclusive economic growth. Through these efforts, I have given decision-makers the insights needed to expand access to information, opportunity, and care, and change behavior.

I believe that on the other side of this work is a world in which the success of our programs and initiatives render my role — and our industry — obsolete. While that future remains distant, achieving it demands relentless focus on creating systemic solutions that address systemic challenges. I bring this lens to every strategy, story, and partnership I shape.

Core competencies

Advocacy

Advocacy influences policy and power structures. I conduct deep geopolitical, political and media analyses to provide clients with strategic recommendations.

Communication

Branding and communication shape identity, build trust and recognition, and mobilize action. I identify the right audiences and construct messages that connect at scale.

Partnership building

Partnership building connects organizations and leaders to achieve shared goals. I help clients to select the best partners for their cause and get them on board.

Selection of previous projects

UNICEF Advocacy analyses, workshop facilitation and capacity building

  • Function: For 1.5 years, I directed a successful collaboration between UNICEF and Dalberg, securing and managing multiple projects that advanced UNICEF’s global advocacy goals.

  • Activities: A key achievement was leading UNICEF’s first-ever advocacy situational analyses - one for a regional office and the other for a country office. These analyses mapped how geopolitical, political, and media dynamics shape child rights and advocacy priorities, and provided actionable insights to guide future strategies. To deliver this, I directed teams to conduct an extensive review of internal UNICEF materials, set the research framework, lead interviews and targeted desk research across political, economic, and media trends, run a media sentiment analysis, and produce stakeholder and power maps — all synthesized into clear, strategic recommendations presented through final reports. On additional projects, I facilitated advocacy and communications workshops and produced capacity-building resources.

  • Result: UNICEF was able to build stronger advocacy strategies, reach internal alignment on critical issues, and improve global advocacy skills and outcomes.

P4G Communication and partnership building support

  • Function: I led a two-year engagement between Dalberg and Partnering for Green Growth and Global Goals (P4G), hosted by the World Resources Institute, supporting a range of projects focused on public-private partnership development and incubation.

  • Activities: Working closely with senior executives, ministers, and key stakeholders across sectors such as green transportation, e-vehicles, energy trading, and sustainable economic zones, I helped cultivate partnerships with the potential to drive millions of dollars in sustainable investment. I also strengthened P4G’s brand and communications collateral, refined their partner development methodology, and conceptualized and facilitated workshops to accelerate partnership building.

  • Result: P4G was able to enter a new phase of its development with a cohesive way of communicating about their brand, an innovative methodology that catalyzed the establishment of public-private partnerships, and improved support of its most promising partnerships.

Wellcome Trust Long-covid research agenda communication

  • Function: To amplify emerging Long Covid insights and advocacy messaging with global audiences (with a focus on Kenya and Malawi), I collaborated with Wellcome leadership to produce a comprehensive communications strategy, compelling infographics, and accessible content.

  • Activities: Our work centered on the dissemination strategy of a report, including a power map of key actors in the global health space, educational graphics to highlight core findings, and a targeted dissemination list spanning top publications, events, and influential stakeholders. Based on our recommendations, my team at Dalberg also planned and executed a soft launch event that secured participation from major organizations, including the African Union.

  • Result: Advocates, researchers and policymakers were equipped with the evidence they needed to fundamentally talk about long covid as a valid challenge and to further research the high potential areas to provide therapeutics and support to those living with Long Covid.
